James Allen Huguelet

James Allen Huguelet, born on May 14, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in Smithfield, North Carolina, at the age of 78.

Known affectionately as Jim, he was the beloved husband of Dianna Huguelet. He was a devoted father to his daughter Tina Girard and her husband David Girard, and to his son Thomas Wilson. Jim cherished his role as grandfather to his grandson Jax Wilson. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence Huguelet and Elizabeth Allen.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971, stationed in Alaska, where he served with dedication and honor. A man of many talents, he found deep satisfaction in working with wood and building things, his craftsmanship revealing his patience and creativity. He also loved the outdoors, finding peace and fulfillment in fishing and hunting.

Above all, Jim was a family man who always made time for those he loved. His unwavering support and care left a lasting impression on everyone close to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he shared so generously.
