James A. Zimmer

James A. Zimmer, aged 67, formerly of the Poconos, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Hellertown. Born in Syracuse, New York, on September 17, 1958, he was the son of the late Homer J. and Margaret J. (Stoyan) Zimmer.

James worked for many years as a self-employed contractor in the building trades throughout the Poconos. He took great pride in his craftsmanship, and his projects consistently reflected the skill and dedication he brought to his work.

In his free time, James enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and skiing—pursuits that revealed both his creative spirit and his deep appreciation for the outdoors.

He is survived by his brother, John P. Zimmer and his wife Anna of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and by his niece and nephew, Derrick and Desiree.
