James A. Williams, 85, of Gibson, passed away on March 4, 2026.
Born and raised in the Gibson community, James lived a full life rooted in faith and family. He was a longtime and faithful member of Green Lake AME Zion Church, where he found both spiritual home and close community.
He is remembered as a quiet, steady presence whose life touched many in his hometown. James leaves behind family and friends who will carry forward the example of his steadfast character and deep commitment to the people and places he loved.
Interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gibson.
