James A. Finley

James A. Finley, age 78, of Martin, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born on December 21, 1947, in Carbon Glow, Kentucky, to the late Charles Raymond Finley and Janie Bailey Tolleson, James served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long career as a crane operator for LTV Steel Company in Chicago, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanna Finley; two daughters, Cynthia Willingham of Paducah, Kentucky, and Christina Wegner of Highland, Indiana; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Tolleson Walker and Lynn Tolleson Hopkins. James was preceded in death by three brothers, Major Higgins, Bobby Crabtree, and Donald Crabtree, and three sisters, Rhonda Tolleson Spinks, Brenetta Tolleson Henry, and Jackie Crabtree.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was marked by quiet strength, hard work, and steadfast love for his family.
