He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Coleman, Jr. and Tonya Coleman-Palmer; and his mother-in-law Michelle Leatherbury. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Washington Coleman (DJing); his stepmother Lorraine Coleman; his children, Yusef Washington, Lawrence Washington, Tymire Coleman and Iyonna Coleman; his siblings, Sentressa White (Mark) and Joseph Coleman III (Brendai); his grandparents, Lucille Brooks and Joseph Coleman, Sr.; his aunts, Zebrina Coleman, Tanya Purnell (Keith) and Beverly Marsh; his brother-in-law Anthony Washington; and his brother Ryan Stevenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory (441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Cedar Green Cemetery (251 E Academy St, Clayton, NJ 08312).
