Jake "Big Red" Rexroad, 34, of Peoria and formerly of La Salle, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Sharon Healthcare Elms in Peoria.
Born and raised in La Salle, Jake carried his vibrant personality and larger-than-life presence with him throughout his years. Known affectionately as Big Red, he touched the lives of many with his warmth, humor, and steadfast loyalty to family and friends. He remained deeply connected to his roots in La Salle while building a life in Peoria, where he spent his final days.
He leaves behind family and friends who will remember him for the joy he brought into their lives and the genuine bonds he formed. A celebration of his life was held on March 21, 2026, in La Salle, with Reverend Chico Perez of Abundant Life Fellowship officiating. Burial was private.
