Voegele, 89, of Cabot, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born November 14, 1936, in North Little Rock to the late Jacob Benjamin Voegele and Mae Clift Voegele.Jake was a faithful and longtime member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, where his life reflected the values of faith, family, and hard work. In 1968, Jake and the love of his life, Margie, founded Voegele Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Together they built a business that served the community for many years and stood as a testament to their dedication and perseverance.Jake had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hunting and spending time in nature, but some of his happiest moments were spent traveling and sharing life's adventures with Margie. More than anything, Jake loved his family. He took great pride in them and treasured every moment spent together.He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Julie Voegele Orr; and his sisters, Sara Donaho and Dorothy Sorrells.Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 69 years, Margie Christine Voegele; his son, Jeff Voegele and wife, Sherry; his grandchildren, Jordan Hardy and husband, Kyle; Jacob Voegele and wife, Lauren; Brett Beam and wife, Cheyeanna; Jessica Orr; and Jill and Joie Orr; along with eight great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends who will miss him dearly.A funeral service celebrating Jake's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Mount Carmel Building Fund.
