Jacquita Ann Book

Jacquita Ann Book, known lovingly as Jackie, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on December 1, 1961, she was the second of three daughters born to the late Tom and Delores West. Raised in a home filled with love and care, Jackie met Tim Book at the age of 16. The two soon married and shared a devoted 43-year love story marked by commitment, friendship, laughter, and resilience until Tim’s death in 2021.

Jackie poured her heart into motherhood, raising her children TJ and Libby with unwavering dedication to both their intellectual growth and emotional well-being. Later, she pursued a career in cosmetology, becoming a certified master instructor at the Clarksburg Beauty Academy, where she taught the art of hairstyling to countless students for 30 years while always placing her family first.

Her greatest joy came from her six grandchildren—Halle, Haven, Harlow, Henna, Mazi, and Walker—whom she loved with boundless enthusiasm and tender care. She is survived by her children, son-in-law Donnie Stonebreaker, her grandchildren, and her sisters Tammy Heldreth and Lisa Riffle and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim, her parents, and her daughter-in-law Amanda Book.

In accordance with her wishes, Jackie’s body was cremated and her remains returned to the earth. Those who loved her will remember her through their favorite memories and the smiles those moments still bring.
