She was born on June 26, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to Jack and Mary Figara.Jacque grew up in Dallas, Texas where she met and married the love of her life Robert Marvin Hensell. They raised two children, Scott and Heather Hensell in Hurst, Texas before retiring to Forestburg, Texas in the mid-90s. Jacque retired from Southwestern Bell, where she served as a Marketing Residence Manager and was known for her leadership and determination, she frequently broke sales records and was recognized for her ability to turn struggling teams into high-performing ones.Jacque's greatest love was her family starting with her husband of 58 years. The two were true soulmates and best friends, sharing a life filled with adventure and deep companionship. Together they traveled extensively, exploring destinations around the world and traveling to over 40 countries. Alaska held a special place in Jacque's heart, and she returned there ten times. She treasured the trips shared with family, including travels with her daughter and daughter-in-law as their own traveling trio known as the Gal Pals. Jacque loved recounting her adventures and sharing stories of the many places she visited.Jacque also was an incredible grandmother. She volunteered tirelessly to help raise four grandsons where she was creative in finding fun activities. During spring and summer breaks she took them on numerous field trips and invented many activities to keep the boys busy and engaged in activities that they enjoy to this day.In Forestburg, she was an active member of a warm and supportive community. She enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Society, Bunco gatherings, book club, dominoes and many other local activities that brought friends together.Jacque was also a gifted and passionate quilter. A master of her craft, she won awards for her work and served as President for the Trinity Valley Quilters Guild. Her creativity and attention to detail were reflected in the beautiful pieces she created and shared with others.She had a wonderful sense of humor and a lifelong enthusiasm for collecting. Her home featured a special dish room, thoughtfully arranged to display her treasured collection of antique dishes. It was a space that reflected both her eye for beauty and her joy in preserving meaningful pieces.Jacque also had a soft spot for animals and adored her two beloved cats, affectionately known as the Love Bugs.To her family, Jacque was not only a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother but a storyteller, travel companion, and source of laughter. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories and loved sharing stories from the many places she and Robert explored together. Those who knew her will remember her humor, her creativity, and the way she filled her home with warmth, beauty, and collections that reflected a life well lived. Her love for her family was constant, and the memories created together will remain a lasting reminder of the joy she brought to those around her.Jacque was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hensell, parents Jack and Mary Figara, and grandsons Logan Robert Hensell and Andrew Scott Hensell.She is survived by her son Scott Hensell and his wife Mandy of Flower Mound, Texas, daughter Heather Hensell and her wife Jackie Holland of Dallas, Texas, grandsons Dillon Hensell of Lewisville, Texas and Hayden Hensell and his wife Hope of Flower Mound, Texas, and their children Harper and Hollyn, and step-grandchildren Ashley Roberts of Aurora, Colorado, and Hunter Kaufer of Astoria, New York.Per Jacque's wishes, there will not be a funeral.
