We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2026, at the age of 89, Jacquelyn Carpenter of Saint Augustine, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jacquelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jacquelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woodbine Cemetery (147 Athens St, Jefferson, GA 30549).
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, 5225 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite #605, Washington, DC 20015.
