Jacqueline Sue Walton

Jacqueline Sue Walton, age 87, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Point Lookout Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born to Jack Helmick and Vida Helmick on October 1, 1938, in Decatur, Illinois, she married Larry Walton on August 3, 1958, in Springfield, Missouri.

A respected CPA, Jacqueline was a partner in the firm Walton Weston & Weston in Springfield. She found joy in volunteering at the Price Cutter Golf Tournament and supporting various community organizations. A longtime member of the Ledgestone Ladies Golf Association, she remained active and engaged throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Walton; her parents, Jack and Vida Helmick; and her three sons, Patrick, Michael, and Christopher Walton. Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Susan Walton of Blue Eye, Missouri, and two granddaughters, Campbell and Channing Walton.
