Jacqueline Neely Brown
Rock Hill, SC
Mrs. Jacqueline Neely Brown, 62, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on December 1, 1962, in Rock Hill, she was the daughter of Willie G. Neely, Sr. and the late Nancy Ruth Martin Neely. Affectionately known as Jackie or Big Jack, she grew up with deep roots in the community and a strong faith that began early in life as a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Edgemoor.
A graduate of the Rock Hill High School Class of 1982, Jackie worked for many years at Leiner’s and Pharr Yarn in Clover before her most recent employment with Transaxle of America. She approached every job with determination and encouraged those around her to always do their best. She found simple pleasures in reading, watching movies, dancing, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her home was always open and welcoming to family and friends, filled with laughter and good conversation. She especially cherished her time with her granddaughter, Emoree Sanai Foster, who loved their long talks with her Gran-Gran.
Jackie is survived by her husband, James W. Brown; son, De’Juan J. “DJ” Shealey of Spartanburg; daughter, Rayneesha N. Foster and her husband Darryl; and beloved granddaughter, Emoree Sanai Foster, all of Rock Hill. She also leaves behind her father, Willie G. Neely, Sr.; brother, Willie G. Neely and his wife Lynn; sisters, Glenda White and her husband James, Gloria Weathers and her husband Ronald Benjamin, and Cynthia R. Neely and her husband Billy Adams; along with a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her joyful spirit and the way her laughter would overtake her stories.
