December 7, 1947— March 7, 2026
Antioch, IL
Jacqueline "Jackie" A. Millard, 78, of Antioch, passed away peacefully at her home on March 7, 2026. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Jacob and Annette Rauscher, Jackie built a distinguished career as a paralegal for several prominent Cleveland law firms. While her professional life was marked by diligence, her personal life was defined by harmony. She married her soulmate, Jim, and found her greatest joy in motherhood.
A gifted professional accordionist, Jackie spent years performing in cultural festivals and bands. Her legacy of music lives on through her son, a professional musician in Nashville. An adventurous chef, she mastered everything from intricate Indian cuisine to traditional Spanish paella and was perhaps best known for her homemade bread, which she shared generously with those in need. Jackie’s life was a testament to selflessness; she possessed the rare ability to always place the needs of others above her own.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim; her son Jaymi; her grandchildren Daniel, Kelly, Sean, and Katherine; and her sister Martha (Arnold). She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy (Michael).
