Though his life was far too short, Jacob lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the love of his family and the simple joys that brought him happiness every day.Jacob had a calm, laid-back personality that made everyone around him feel comfortable and happy. His gentle spirit and warm presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.He loved spending time outdoors, especially taking walks in parks and along boardwalks. One of his favorite places was Ocean Grove.Music was a big part of Jacob's life. He loved listening to all kinds of music and especially enjoyed singing country songs. Jacob also had fun creating TikTok videos where he could share his love of music; he can be seen singing many of his favorite songs on his page jakeandrueirl.Jacob was also a big sports fan. He proudly rooted for his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and enjoyed watching Formula 1 racing.Jacob had a deep interest in history and current events and was a true history buff. Jacob had an incredible ability to recall facts and could easily rattle off details about historical events or what was happening around the world, often impressing those around him with his knowledge.During the week, Jacob attended the Ladacin Network Monmouth Access Program, where he built meaningful friendships and enjoyed spending time out in the community. The program and the friendships he formed there were an important and joyful part of his life.Jacob had many dreams for the future, traveling the country in an RV. He also dreamed of attending many concerts, taking a special trip to Japan and going on a cruise.Above all, Jacob brought light and joy to those around him. His kind heart, easygoing nature, and love for life will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.Jacob was predeceased by his grandfather, (Papi) Joseph Brown Sr. He is survived by his loving parents, Kimberly and Joseph Brown Jr; his brother Joseph Brown, grandmother (grandma), Karen Ardolino, grandmother, (Nana) Gloria J. Brown; Grandfather, Samuel Solis, Uncle Arsone Brown and wife Nancy, Uncle Darrell Brown and wife Robyn; Uncle Samuel Solis Cousins Lucas and Garrett Brown; Zachary and Alexander Solis; and many loving family members and friends.A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Ely Funeral home from 10:00am until 12:00pm with the memorial service beginning at 12:00pm. Immediately following will be a repass at the Brown Family homeIn Lieu of flowers: Donations to Ladacin Network, website: ladacin.org"Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.I'm following the path God laid for me, I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play.Tasks left undone must stay that way.
