Jackie Ray Dixon

Jackie Ray Dixon, 79, of Cecilia, Kentucky, passed away on March 5, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Born in Louisville to Jack and Martha Dixon, Jackie was a steadfast and humble man whose deep faith guided his life. A longtime member of WJCR Church, he found joy in helping others and remained devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a gifted songwriter and singer whose music served as a heartfelt expression of his creativity, beliefs, and character.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack V. Dixon; his mother, Martha G. Dixon; his first wife, Linda Lee Wortham; his daughter, Cindy Lee Kist; and his five brothers and five sisters.

Jackie is survived by his loving wife, Margie Faye Morrison of Cecilia; his son, Jeffery Ray (Tammy) Dixon of Eastview; grandchildren Aaron (Brenda) Taylor, Jessica Farmer, Jackie Ann Bowling, Steve Bowling, Joella (Aaron) Best, and Andrew (Christine) Taylor; great-grandchildren Nation, Christian, Brooklyn, Hayle, Jackson, Hunter, Fisher, Scout, River, Gunner, Trinton, and Allee; and great-great-grandchild Kingston.
