He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Ewing and Wanda Jane Ewing (Roberts); and his sister Joan Caltrider. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jane Ewing of Williamstown, WV; his stepchildren, Bob Allen (Wanda) of Newark, OH and Russell Allen (Dee Dee) of Raleigh, NC; and his nephew Herbert Ewing (Michelle) of Walker, WV.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
