He is survived by: his wife Margaret Taylor; his sons, Jack Nelson Taylor III (Robin), Joseph D. Taylor (Wendy) and Christopher Gerald "Jerry" Taylor; his grandchildren, Jordan Stokes (Drew), Cydney Putnam (Justin), Caleb Taylor (Logan Taylor), Savannah Taylor and Shane Taylor; his great grandchildren, Bo, Maggie and Miller; and his sister Bonnie Bone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lexington Baptist Church (308 E Main St, Lexington, SC 29072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
