Jack L. “Hungry Jack” Pemberton, 82, of Modoc, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on March 23, 1943, in Jasper, Tennessee, to Clarence Milton and Geneva Lucille (Blaylock) Pemberton, Jack spent many years in Losantville where he and his wife, Teena, owned and operated the Blue Moon Restaurant.
He is survived by his wife, Christine “Teena” Pemberton, and their three children, Geneva, Thomas, and Joseph Pemberton.
Jack will be remembered for the warmth and energy he brought to his family and the community he served through his restaurant for so many years.
