Jack L. Langan

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack L. Langan of Chippewa Lake, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Langan and Bessie Langan (VanVorst); his son-in-law Ronald Jones; and his siblings, Robert Langan and Pearl Hyde.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Langan (Terry), Patricia Jones, Deborah Richards, Mark Langan and Robin Carter (Christopher). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1333 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at the Ithaca Cemetery (200 Spring St, Ithaca, MI 48847).

Memorials may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police.
