Jack Harry Thompson III

Jack Harry Thompson III, 40, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2026, at East Liverpool Hospital. Born on January 21, 1986, in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of Jack and Victoria (Smith) Thompson of Richmond.

A 2005 graduate of Edison Local, Jack had a warm and outgoing nature that drew people to him. He loved traveling, enjoyed gathering with friends at the White Bear, and embraced every social occasion. He never met a stranger and was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In addition to his parents, Jack is survived by his uncle, Lee Thompson; aunts, Cheryl Forster and Lynn Blankenship; cousins, Lee Ann Lansford, Tammy Lansford, William and Cody Forster, Zac and Hunter Thompson, Dale Blankenship, and April Blankenship; his beloved dog, Lilo; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Brenda Williams.
