Jack Fuller Burke

Jack Fuller Burke of Meadowview, Virginia, passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Wingfield Burke and Arlene Anderson Burke, and by his siblings, Joy Amos, Carrie Keys, Jean Jesse, Faye Burnett, Russ Burke, Roy Burke, and Mac Burke.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Barr Burke; his children, Missy Salyer of Bristol, Marian Combs of Abingdon, Keith Burke and his wife Anita of Bristol, and John Jones and his wife Crystal of Daleville; his sisters, B. J. Bare, Rene Hudson, Polly Green, and Mona Wykle; and his grandsons, Dustin Salyers, Dale Fleenor, Jacob Jones, and Jared Jones. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, Jack remained deeply connected to his large and loving family, finding joy in the relationships that spanned generations. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for the steady presence he provided to those he loved.
