Jack C. Eaglen

Jack C. Eaglen, age 82, of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. Born in Erie on September 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Boyd and Marie Eaglen.

A 1961 graduate of Harbor Creek High School, Jack owned and operated Eaglen’s Harborcreek Hardware for more than 40 years. He later worked at Lowe’s on Peach Street for 25 years, primarily in the electrical and plumbing departments, where his knowledge and skill earned him many lasting friendships. A longtime active member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, he devoted more than four decades to mowing and maintaining the church grounds. He found great joy in playing tennis and golf, and he possessed a natural talent for landscaping.

Jack is survived by his three sons, Michael Eaglen (Remy), Peter Eaglen (Heather), and Christopher Eaglen (Laura); ten grandchildren, Aimen, Aliyah, Addyson, Avarey, Cole, Maggie, Andrew, Alec, Crew, and Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, MaryElla Eaglen, and his two brothers, Boyd and Richard Eaglen.
