Jack Almas Quattrochi, 30, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, passed away on March 4, 2026 at his home after a long struggle with mental illness. Born on March 10, 1995 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, he was the beloved son of Joanne Quattrochi. Jack graduated from Taconic High School, where he played trombone in the marching band and competed on the tennis and ski teams. He went on to earn an associate’s degree from Berkshire Community College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Jack worked as a certified nursing assistant at Berkshire Medical Center. He had a lifelong passion for helping children, serving as a ski instructor at Bousquet, a counselor at CYC Summer Camp, and a participant in the Haiti Plunge. He also served as an Ambassador for Downtown Pittsfield. Outgoing and warm, Jack greeted everyone with his infectious smile. A talented artist and gifted writer, he often expressed his affection through heartfelt letters and artwork created for friends and family.
He leaves behind his devoted mother, Joanne M. Quattrochi; aunts Susanne Quattrochi, Robin Fernsell, and Karen Bauer; cousins Sarah Gilkes, Andrew Gilkes, Madeleine Fernsell, Alison Fernsell, Kathryn Bauer, and Hanna Bauer; and a wide circle of friends and coworkers who cherished him. Jack was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Robert K. and Kathryn C. Quattrochi.
