Louise Mills, 96, a resident of Graystone Court of Huntingdon, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Oaks at Westminster Woods. Born January 1, 1930 in Mapleton Depot, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Agata Maria (Cori) DeMario. She was united in marriage to John P. Mills on October 14, 1950 in Mapleton. John preceded her in death on September 18, 2017, after 66 years of marriage.Louise is survived by three children, Steve Mills (Melaney) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jim Mills (Joyce) and Sherry Perow (Gary), all of Huntingdon; nine grandchildren, J.P. Mills of State College, Delaney Mills of Florence, SC, Conner Mills (Laura) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lauren Perow (Sam), Austin Perow (Tori), and Bruce Perow, all of Huntingdon, and Elliott Perow (Brittany) of Dubois; one great-grandchild, Crew Perow of Dubois; a dear friend of the family, Jerry Ardrey of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by three sisters, Lola Ernest (Austin), Flora Ernest (Norman), and Helen Getz (Jim); two brothers, Donald Demario (Louise) and Arthur DeMario (Beryl); and a number of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Mills was a 1949 graduate of Mount Union High School.Family was at the forefront of Louise's life, and she was known as "Tip" to all those who loved her. She devoted her life to caring for her family and was later employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an inheritance tax auditor until retiring in 1986.She will be remembered for her stories of "back in the day," tales of her grandchildren's childhood, and the love and devotion she had for her family. She lived by her high school motto "live while you live." Mrs. Mills also enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, and vacationing at the beach.At the request of Mrs. Mills, there will be no public service. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions in remembrance of J.
