Ivan De Calzadilla

Ivan De Calzadilla, 59, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Texas. Born on November 18, 1966, in Havana, Cuba, to Casimiro De Calzadilla and Lucia Beleño, he came to the United States in 1994 with a quiet determination to build a better life for himself and his family.

Ivan was a hardworking man who never complained about long hours or difficult jobs. Through dedication and perseverance, he became a truck driver, a career he truly loved. He found joy in life on the road, traveling across the country and discovering new places. When he was home, he cherished simple pleasures—watching comedy movies, going out to restaurants, and spending time with those closest to him. Warm and loving by nature, Ivan especially treasured the company of his forever partner, Maria, with whom he shared more than 32 years.

He is survived by his beloved partner, Maria; his children, Matthew De Calzadilla, Mariel Herrera, and Zoraida (JR) Crane; his sister, Patricia De Calzadilla; and his mother, Lucia Beleno. He was preceded in death by his father, Casimiro De Calzadilla.
