Israel Garcia Jr., age 56 of Manvel, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on June 11, 1969 in Galveston, Texas, Israel spent his working life as a truck driver, finding joy in the open road and the many places it took him. He cherished time spent with his immediate family, whether on vacations, sharing meals at favorite restaurants, or gathering for barbecues at home. A devoted uncle, he held a special place in his heart for all his nephews and nieces, and he remained close to his sisters and his large extended family throughout his life. Known for his kind and friendly nature, Israel made friends wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel Garcia Sr. and Mary Garcia.
Israel is survived by his wife, Melissa Garcia, his sisters Amanda Allen and her husband Blaze, Angela Garcia Gonzales, and many other relatives and friends who will remember him with great affection.
