Ismael Ramos Jr.

Ismael Ramos Jr., born September 6, 1963, passed away on March 7, 2026. A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, he served with pride in the Army National Guard for more than twenty years. Ismael was cherished for his cheesy sense of humor, which never failed to bring laughter and warmth to those around him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ismael and Emiliana Ramos, his brothers Alexander and Jose Ramos, and his sister Carmen Ramos. He is survived by his children, Jonathan Theodore Hawthorne-Ramos, Victoria Lee Hawthorne-Ramos, and Minnie Annie Hawthorne-Ramos, as well as his dear friend Donna Hawthorne. He is also survived by his siblings Mary, Maria, Yolanda, Myrna, and his brother George Ramos. Ismael was a loving grandfather to Johnaythen Mark Ramos-Harris and will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
