Isabelo Padilla "Beloy" Sabit

Isabelo "Beloy" Padilla Sabit, 78, of McClure, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, March 13, 2026.He was born in Danao, Jasaan, Philippines, on Oct. 19, 1947, to the late Moises and Lourdes (Padilla) Sabit. On Aug. 20, 1970, he married the love of his life, Dorothea Bacala in Jasaan.Beloy was a loving, caring, hardworking, helpful and kind person that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church of Napoleon, and Devoted Divine Mercy. He was also a fourth degree Knight of Columbus in the Philippines.He enjoyed camping and boating in his free time. Beloy could often be seen spending time caring for his garden, or spending time in nature taking in all the beauty. If something needed fixed around the house, Beloy was the man for the job.He spent his life as an electrician for PICMW after completing vocational school to train for his job. Beloy could also be seen working on radios as a radio technician.He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothea; children, Marichu (Joy) Joromat, Doris (Lolot) Baguinat, Wendy (Glen) Borck, and Ziesyl (William) Borck; grandchildren, Kobe Bryan Joromat, Kaisha Marie Joromat and Ken Joshua Joromat, Gwen Marie Sabit Borck and Allyssa Mae Sabit Borck; siblings, Nora Bacala, Isabel Naingue, Bebina Dangcal, and Francesca Cailing; as well as many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.A funeral Mass will be held for Beloy at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow mass at the church cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards St. Augustine Catholic Church.Online condolences may also be left for the family at rodenbergergray.com.
