Isabelle Able

Isabelle Able, affectionately known as “Bell,” was born on September 20, 1930, in Ridgeway, South Carolina, to the late Solomon Able and Mary Ann Perry. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she gave her time, energy, and unconditional love to her family throughout her life. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, endurance, and perseverance.

Isabelle passed peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Able; her sisters, Louvenia Belton and Lula Mae Cunnington; and her brother, Whittie Cunningham.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Georgia Able, and her son, Ronnie Able of Paterson, New Jersey; granddaughters Theresa Able-Kirby of Paterson, New Jersey, and Tishawn Fulwood of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; grandsons Jared Hunter of White Plains, New York, and Sharieff Kwam Greenwood (Sharon) of Union, New Jersey; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, Alai Mayo of Paterson, New Jersey, and Arian Gibson of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her brother, Willie Able of Salisbury, North Carolina, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
