Henry faced every challenge with strength, grit, and the same determination that defined the way he lived his life.Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Underwood and Carla Christian; his sisters, Julia Underwood and Marsha Smedshammer; his brother, Tony Underwood; and his sister-in-law, Lorraine Underwood.He is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Dina, who remained by his side through every joy and hardship. He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Macy, Julie, Samantha, Tori, Kaitlyn, and Kasey (Britany and Tyler) who were the pride of his life. Henry's love for his family was abundant, unwavering, and deeply felt; he was happiest when surrounded by the people he cherished most.Henry is also survived by his brothers, David Underwood (Linda), Robert Underwood (Sharon), Randy Underwood (Lisa), and Clifford Underwood; his sister, Deborah Fuller; and his sister-in-law, Theresa Underwood. He will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, along with a large circle of relatives and friends.A lifelong drag racing enthusiast, Henry found a second family at the track. Racing was more than a hobby; it was a passion that shaped his life and connected him to a community he loved dearly. His racing family stood with him through victories, challenges, and the final stretch of his illness. The friendships he built there were as enduring as his love for the sport itself.Henry's legacy lives on in the family he adored, the friends who loved him, and the racing community that will forever feel his absence.A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
