Iris A. Wozniak

Iris Wozniak, née Novak, age 78, of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late LeRoy Wozniak. Iris was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose quiet strength and warm presence touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Olivia (Michelle) Wozniak and Grace (David) Albrecht, and her great-grandchildren, Stevie Lee and Bleu Cheese. Iris was preceded in death by her son, Lee S. Wozniak of the Chicago Police Department, her daughter-in-law Jacklyn Wozniak, née Lamb, her sister Midge Stanevicius, and her brother Vincent Novak. She will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.

Iris lived a life rooted in family, loyalty, and simple joys. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to be part of her world.
