Irene Venuti

Irene Venuti, 77, of East Greenbush, passed away at home on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of Anthony Nitti and Theodora (Clemente) Nitti.

Irene met her husband, Frank Venuti, when she was just 14 years old. She shared her life with him until his passing on December 19, 2013. A devoted mother, she lived for her children and possessed a heart of gold, always ready to help anyone in need. She found deep comfort in her Catholic faith and attending church, and she enjoyed regular visits to the gym as well as cherished time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Frank A. Venuti and Anthony Venuti; her grandson, Nicolas Venuti; and her sisters, Barbara Cater, Catherine Sottile, and Joan Wilkens. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Venuti.
