Irene was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and warmth touched everyone who knew her.More than anything, Irene loved spending time with her family. Being surrounded by the people she loved most brought her the greatest joy, and many of her favorite memories were made simply visiting, laughing, and sharing time together. She had a deep love for her faith and found comfort in praying the rosary and sharing her love for Jesus with those around her. Irene also enjoyed collecting Fiesta medals, listening to Tejano music and oldies, and taking drives to the casinos with her sisters and nieces, where they shared stories, laughter, and created many cherished memories. She loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros and especially enjoyed staying up late talking and laughing on the phone with her sisters.Irene had a special gift for making people feel seen and loved. She always made sure everyone around her was taken care of, never judged anyone, and had a way of making people laugh and smile. She had a warm heart that made people feel comfortable and welcome in her presence. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, and took great pride in always being there for the people she loved.
