Irene Meehan

Irene (Warren) Meehan, age 62, of Arcadia, Florida, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia. Born on December 13, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Theodore J. Warren and the late Marie (Meade) Warren. Irene lived in Arcadia for the past 18 months, having previously resided in Englewood, Florida, for 30 years. There she worked in the mortgage industry, served as an officer of the BNI Paradise Coast Chapter, and was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Earlier in life she had lived in Hamlin, Pennsylvania, and Budd Lake, New Jersey.

Irene is survived by her beloved daughter Deborah Meehan and son-in-law Colin Hubartt; her loving grandsons Elliott and Warren Hubartt; her brothers and sister Theodore P. Warren and his wife Glenna of Hope, New Jersey, Janet Warren Dugo of Staten Island, New York, and her partner George Steele, and Kenneth C. Warren and his wife Clara of Mansfield, New Jersey; sisters-in-law Debra Warren of Oldwick, New Jersey, and D. Bouraine Smith and her husband Larry of Port Charlotte, Florida; brothers-in-law Michael Meehan Jr. and his wife Christine of Port Charlotte, Florida, and John Meehan and his wife Kirsten of Landing, New Jersey; along with many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and godchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Richard “Ricky” Meehan, her brother Robert M. Warren, and her brother-in-law Nicholas J. Dugo.
