She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha VanNieuwenhuyze and Camile VanNieuwenhuyze; her sister Ivonna Bruneel; her son Stephen; and her husband George.

She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Shawntele; her grandson Caden; her sibling's children, Gary and Susan (Tim); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Victoria (Stephen), Julie (Todd) and Joella.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
