She was born June 7, 1930, to Rudolph Best and Linda (Moeller) Best in Karnes County.June had a fondness for cooking, crocheting and wildflowers. She was a barrel racer in her younger years and enjoyed being around livestock, especially horses. She and her husband, Charlie, trained horses in Australia for a few years. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles "Charlie" Beard; son, Terry Beard; and sister, Margie Best Denson.She is survived by her sister, Arline Best Matthews, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Services will be held on at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Karnes City Methodist Church.June will be buried in the Blanco Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
