Irene Halama

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Halama (Independence, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Pampuch and Catherine Pampuch (Pientok); and her husband Ernest Halama. She is survived by: her children, Marie Vermette (Elwyn), Theresa Thoma (Bill), Catherine Loisel (Richard), John Halama (Rita), Cynthia Gregory (Wayne) and Helen Anne; and her brother Jerry. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church (36028 Osseo Rd, Independence, WI 54747). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Church (36028 Osseo Rd, Independence, WI 54747). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery (36028 Osseo Rd, Independence, WI 54747).
