She was predeceased by: her parents, Friederich Martin and Antonia Haessler (Mauz); her son Martin Patrick Hickey; her brother Hugo Haessler; her husbands, Robert E. Hickey and Lonnie R. Brown; and her close friend Rudy Schmidt.

She is survived by: her daughter Tracey Harble (Jim); her grandchildren, Bryan, Thomas, Austin Hickey, Mitchell Harble (Miranda), Jordan Harble and Tyler Harble (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Collin, Taylor Hickey, Ayden Peters, Abigail Holley, Evelyn, Delilah and Jesse Harble; her stepbrother Gerhard Schmied; and her sister Hanni Wietzke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
