Ina Joyce Lurie

Ina Joyce Lurie, née Schultz, passed away at the age of 94. She was the devoted wife of the late Myron “Mike” Lurie.

A loving mother, Ina is survived by her children Aleece (Mark) Ginsburg, Dr. Beth (Dr. Michael) Ginsburg, and Michael (Jill) Lurie. She was an adoring Nana to her grandchildren David (Cheryl) Ginsburg, Joseph (Megan) Ginsburg, Samantha Ginsburg, Adam (Adreanne) Lurie, Dori Ginsburg, Erin (Michael) Keefe, and Jacob (Lydia) Ginsburg, and a cherished great-grandmother to Mason and Shawn Ginsburg, Vivian and Tate Ginsburg, Julian Ginsburg, and Fiona Lurie. Ina was also deeply loved by all her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Sam and Dorothy Schultz, her sister and brother-in-law Muriel and Burton Spiegel, and her brother Sol Schultz, Ina was the last of her generation. Her family will feel her absence for years to come, yet they will celebrate her long and meaningful life with gratitude and affection.

The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Warren Barr in Buffalo Grove, where Ina received compassionate care in her final years.
