Imojeane Ughetti ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Mar. 17, 2026.Imojeane "Faye" Ughetti, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at The Laurels of Bedford.A native of West Virginia, Faye was born in Yolyn, West Virginia on September 7, 1944, to parents Stollie and Rena Hager. In the early 1960's, the Hager family moved north to settle on Van Buren Avenue in Battle Creek, Michigan. Shortly after their arrival, Faye met Anthony R. Ughetti who lived a few doors down on the other side of the street. An early ice-skating date led to a relationship that lasted decades. Anthony and Faye married in 1965 and moved into a home in Springfield on North 20th Street. Children soon followed, Lisa Kay (1966), Anthony Charles (1967) and Gino Mark (1974).Faye was a devoted and caring mother who helped her children learn to read books and enjoy music at an early age. An early memory often repeated was seeing Elvis Presley in concert at Wings Stadium in 1977. Faye cried all night on August 16, 1977, when Elvis passed away.Faye was able to stay home with her children by working the night shift at Interbake Foods in Springfield throughout the 1970's. The family fondly remembers Faye bringing home Thin Mints and Ice Cream Sandwich cookies for all to enjoy. Later in life, Faye worked part-time for several years as an Activities Assistant at the Eaton County Health and Rehab in Charlotte, Michigan.Late in life, Faye developed kidney disease and needed dialysis, which she faithfully attended for over 8 years. The family extends many thanks to the patient and kind staff at Fresenius Dialysis in Charlotte, who treated her like family for many years.Faye spent her last few months at The Laurels of Bedford Nursing Home. The family is very grateful to Dr. Ted Coy, the staff of the Laurels (especially Will and Kelsey) and Elara Caring Hospice.Faye is survived by her sons, Anthony C.
