Imogene was born on July 24, 1942 in Fairmont, NC to the late William James Herring, Sr and Hesba Hill Herring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; James Albert Herring and Howard Herring.One of Imogene's hobbies was doing craft shows. She also loved gardening and working with her flowers. She was an outdoors type of person. Imogene was a member at Riegelwood Baptist Church. She graduated from Miller Mote Business College with an Associate Degree.Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Lloyd Muriel Rawls of the home, daughter; Cheryl Coleman and brother; William James Herring, Jr.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Columbus Memorial Park at 2:00 pm with Rev.
