Ima "Omie" Carol Wood

Ima “Omie” Carol Wood, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born on August 17, 1938, Omie lived a life centered on caring for those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and presence meant the world to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she had for her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cody Ray Wood; her son, Timothy Ray Wood; and her granddaughter, Megan Wood. Omie is survived by her son, Michael Cody Wood; her granddaughters, Laurren Bachelor, Madison Wood, and Rae Grimsley; her grandsons, Cody Clifford Wood and Chadd Walton; and five great-grandchildren. Her family was the joy of her life, and her legacy will live on through them.

Omie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
