Ila Mae Cannon

Ila Mae Cannon, 82, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Conway Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 10, 1943, in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late James Enoch Gasque and Mary Eliza Lee Gasque.

In addition to her parents, Ila Mae was predeceased by her sisters, Elsie Mae Lewis and Elwood Ivey, and her brother, Donald Leverne Gasque. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who found great joy in making and decorating cakes, attending church, and spending time with those she loved.

She is survived by her son, Chad Cannon; brothers, Carlon Gasque and JC Gasque; sister, Allene Hardee; grandchildren, Makayla Cannon, Jaden Cannon, and Brody Cannon; great-grandchildren, Braelyn Lee and Rhaelynn Mae; special daughter-in-law, Natalie Davis; and sister-in-law, Debra Gasque, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
