Ida J. Thompson

Ida Jean Thompson, 41, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 13, 2026.

Born on January 31, 1985, in Coshocton to Tommy and Linda (Durbin) Thompson, Ida cherished simple joys throughout her life. She especially loved family vacations to Geneva on the Lake and taking time to be pampered with hair and nail appointments that made her feel special.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Thompson; her sister, Anna Thompson; her niece and nephew, Braelyn and Harlan; her uncles Larry (Peggy) Durbin and Mike Durbin; her aunts Bonnie Lawrence, Barbara Bassett, Nancy Quillen, and Marilyn (Bob) Baker; and her special cousin, Amy Neal.

Ida was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Thompson, and her uncle, Clyde Durbin. She will be laid to rest at West Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
