Ian Elijah Stroman

Our precious son, lan Elijah Stroman, left us too soon on March 13, 2026, at the age of 28. Born on June 9, 1997, to Kobie and Tracey Stroman, lan brought unimaginable light and joy into our lives and to those he encountered. lan was joyful, spontaneous, loving and stubborn at times but quickly forgiving. He was affectionately known by his family as "Chocolate Teddy Bear", "Tax Deduction", "Barney", and "Mr. Ian". He loved to watch Stanley and SpongeBob SquarePants cartoons on his tablet while reclining in his favorite lazy boy chair with his blanket. Some of his favorite catch phrases were "You're pushing it", "Hey that's not nice", "Practicing", and "Love You". He also loved to draw pictures of Stanley. Though his time on earth was cut tragically short, lan's spirit will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his parents, Kobie and Tracey Stroman, his stepmother, Danielle Hardin, his sisters, Racheal Goodman and Alaiyah Stroman. His favorite "Best Buddy" his Aunt Nickie Stroman-Freeland, his paternal grandmother, Barbara O'Neal and a host of loving relatives and friends. A memorial celebration of his life will be held on April 3, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home and Cremation in Hurst, TX. We ask that you wear his favorite clothing items, Polo shirt, jeans/sweatpants and converse sneakers.
