Hung Vo

Hung H. Vo, 55, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away on March 10, 2026, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born on September 15, 1970, in Saigon, Vietnam, Hung was the son of Tai Cong Dang and Hoa Thi Vo. He was happily married to his wife, Michelle, and worked as a mechanic. In his free time, he found joy in fishing and gardening. Hung cherished the close bonds he shared with family and friends, treating his dearest friends like family and loving his own family with deep devotion. He remained committed to caring for his loved ones and to keeping their shared memories alive.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle; sons, Josh Vo, Devin Vo, Jake (Gaby) Anderson, and CJ Anderson; several grandchildren, including granddaughter Brooklyn; uncles, Tut and Tune; and his best friend, Demarlo “Fresh” McCoy.

Hung was preceded in death by his daughter, Lydia Vo.
