Hubert Junior Rosson

Hubert Junior Rosson, 97, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Life Care Center in Brookfield.

Born on August 7, 1928, in Lock Spring, Missouri, to Howard Rosson Sr. and Georgia Harper Rosson, Hubert spent most of his life in the New Cambria area. He worked for many years as a mechanic in the automotive industry, earning respect for his strong work ethic and the skill he brought to every task. He found quiet joy in fishing, farming, and gathering with friends for breakfast at the sale barn.

On July 10, 1982, he married Marquita Rosson. Hubert is survived by his children, Marlyn Carter of Keytesville, Missouri, Kelly Ehrhart and her husband Richard of Brookfield, Missouri, and Tammy Myers of Creston, Iowa; his grandchildren Alicia, Sammie, Jennifer, Anthony, Jessica, Crystal, Billie Jean, Daniel, Dawna, Kenneth, Shelly, Jeff, and Crystal; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marquita Rosson; his daughter Arlene Clevland and her husband Larry; his brother Howard Junior Rosson and sister-in-law Darlene; his sisters Katie Ellis, May Winters, Margaret Rose Eden, and infant Gayle Lynn Rosson.
