Hubert Andrew Robinson, 95, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital on March 13, 2026.
Born on April 29, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Roy and Mary (Fluhr) Robinson, Hubert spent his childhood in Elizabeth, Indiana. A Korean War veteran, he served his country in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1955. He later enjoyed a long career with the United States Post Office in Louisville, retiring after 37 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Barbara Jean Middleton Robinson; his siblings, Joseph (Thelma), Gene (Clara), Marie (Paul) Knear, Walter “Rags”, Ralph “Curly” (Geraldine), Kenneth, and Mary Evelyn; and brothers-in-law Joseph Kingsley and George “Pat” Hollkamp.
Hubert is survived by his sisters, Odie Kingsley, Ivy Hollkamp, and June (Raymond) Jacobi; his sister-in-law, Hilda Robinson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him with great affection.
