Hoyt Alton Teller Jr.

Hoyt Alton Teller Jr., 73, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on May 7, 1952, in Chesapeake, Hoyt was known and loved by many throughout his life in the community he called home.

He dedicated 52 years of hard work to ABC Roofing and Siding, formerly known as McDaniels. A kind and generous man, Hoyt’s compassionate nature made him a dependable friend who was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He was a proud member of Moose Lodge 898, where he enjoyed dancing and spending lively times with friends, and he was an active and successful participant in the Moose Pool League, relishing the friendly competition.

Hoyt was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Teller and Hoyt Alton Teller Sr., and his brothers Bobby, Douglas, and Marvin. He is survived by his brother Steven Teller and wife Cindy Teller, his sisters Susan Whitehurst and Barbara Teller, and many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Hoyt will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
