Howard Laird

Howard Laird, 69, of Mount Carmel, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026 at his residence.

Born in Philadelphia on December 14, 1956, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Romayne (Menzok) Laird. He was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing until his retirement.

Howard cherished simple pleasures, especially visiting flea markets and dining out with his brother, Henry. A devoted sports enthusiast, he followed college and professional football, baseball, and hockey with great enthusiasm. He remained a loyal supporter of the Houston Oilers throughout his life, even after the team relocated and became the Titans.

He is survived by his brother, Henry Laird and Kimberly of Mount Carmel; his sister, Romaine Laird and Thomas of Maple Shade, New Jersey; his brother, Martin Laird and his wife Donna of Hatboro; his sister, Mary Laird of Kensington, Philadelphia; and his nieces and nephews.
